Our Senior Pastor, John Sowash, has been involved in ministry for over 30 years.  John and his wife, Cheryl have 7 children and 3 grandchildren. Serving as a Campus Minister at the University of Michigan, John has a experirenced the reality of faith in a very challenging environment.  It was in the campus enviornment that John learned the importance and challenge of discipling individuals with the radical call that Jesus made to His followers to "go and make disicples"..  After 20 years in Campus Ministry Pastor John led in the formation of a church in Ann Arbor that ministered to many of the former students at the UM. It was in this  environment that his focus on the family and assisting families in training their children in Godly Character and the foundations of the Christian life. After moving to the Traverse City Area, John assumed leadership with the Peninsula Bible Church where he has actively worked at challening individuals and families in the Traverse City area in the call to 'be disciples of Christ.

Lenda McQueer serves as the Adminstrative Secretary for Peninsula Bible Church.  Serving as the 'face of PBC' Lenda has a tremendous heart for the Lord and for people.  In addition to her responsibilities as Administrative Assistant, Lend oversees a very active food pantry at the church which serves 100's of people each month.
