Although, we’ve identified three specific verses, the themes contained in these passages permeate through the bible and the picture we have of the early Church and are the foundation for our purpose…
To Love the Lord God…
To lead people to faith in Jesus Christ and His Word…
Encourage individuals, marriages and families to obedience and maturity in Christ…
and Equip them to serve the family of believers and the community.
Why is this important to you? God’s Church cannot be built on personalities, buildings or tradition. God’s Church can only reflect the purposes that He has established for His followers. Personalities will come and go…buildings will change…and tradition can sometimes miss the point- but God’s purposes will enable us to bring Glory to His name
